The City of Hope Tourism Commission will soon put plans in motion for the upcoming 150th Anniversary of Hope’s incorporation, which was 1875.  One of the celebratory events is a city-wide parade that will take place on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 2:00 PM.   

The 150th Event Planning Committee is encouraging participation from community members.  The 150th Anniversary theme should provide opportunities for those entering floats to decorate in the decade of their choosing.  Along with floats, the committee is also encouraging marching bands, walking groups, decorated vehicles, and bicycles.  

Summer Chambers, 150th Anniversary Event Chair, commented, “We are excited about the events that will unfold as we celebrate our city’s rich history.  The parade will provide an opportunity for everyone to be involved, so let’s make the parade something that we will remember for years to come.”
