2024 Big Boo!seum Bash Returns for Halloween Fun
Greater Little Rock Museum & Cultural Attractions Consortium to host annual family-friendly event Oct. 24

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (Sept. 30, 2024) — Sponsored by the Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau (LRCVB), the annual Big Boo!seum Bash returns 5:30-8:30 p.m., Thursday, October 24, 2024. Hosted by the Greater Little Rock Museums and Cultural Attractions Consortium, the free event will feature 14 participants at eight locations.

For more than 20 years, local museums and attractions have opened their doors to the public for this family-friendly event that provides trick-or-treating, games and fun activities in a safe environment. Costumes are encouraged. Visitors are invited to pick up a free Big Boo!seum game card at any of the sites (8), and get it stamped by each participant’s station (14). Completed game cards will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a Google Chromebook tablet or a goody basket. Each game card has detailed instructions.

"The Big BOO!seum Bash provides a wonderful opportunity for people to enjoy Little Rock’s museums and cultural landmarks," said LRCVB President and CEO Gina Gemberling. "It's a great chance to explore our city’s attractions, all within a fun, secure and informative setting,” she added.

2024 participants and host locations include:

 

  • Old State House Museum - 300 W. Markham St. The Arkansas State Archives will also be represented. 
  • Historic Arkansas Museum - 200 E. 3rd St.
  • Witt Stephens Jr. Central Arkansas Nature Center - 602 President Clinton Ave. The Little Rock Zoo will also be represented.
  • Museum of Discovery - 500 President Clinton Ave.
  • MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History - 503 E. 9th St. Historic Curran Hall and the Jacksonville Museum of Military History will also be represented.
  • Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts - 501 E. 9th St.
  • Firehouse Museum & Hostel - 1201 Commerce St. The Central Arkansas Library System will also be represented.
  • Mosaic Templars Cultural Center - 501 W. 9th St. The Little Rock Central High School National Historic Site will also be represented.
