The 45th Annual Watermelon 5K and Melon Mile will be held Saturday, August 12th, 2023 in conjunction with the 47th Annual Hope Watermelon Festival. The 5K will begin at 7:30am with the Melon Mile following at 8:30am. Participants are encouraged to run or walk. 5K entry is $30 plus fees or $35 on race day with discounted rates for runners ages 18 & under. Melon Mile admission is $10 plus fees or $15 on race day for ages 3-12. Every athlete will receive a t-shirt and a watermelon!
