Hosted on Lake Street, this vibrant event promises an unforgettable day of art, music, and community celebration. Cirque du Lake is more than just a popup market—-it’s a gathering of creative spirit, Showcasing the work of local artists, makers, and craftspeople, this event offers a unique opportunity for Shreveport residents and visitors alike to immerse themselves in the rich cultural tapestry of the region. From handmade jewelry and art to locally sourced foods and live performance, there’s something for everyone at this eclectic celebration. The event will feature local vendors, live music from Shreveport’s favorite bands, interactive art installations, and fun activities for all ages, as well as an artist showcase curated specifically for this event. This year, we’re taking it up a notch with a few surprises that highlight this unique character of our city and its people. Whether you’re a long-time resident or just discovering Shreveport, Cirque du Lake is the perfect way to connect with the local community and support the vibrant talent that makes our city shine. “We are excited to bring Cirque du Lake back to life,” says Katy Larsen, owner of The Agora Borealis. She says “This event is all about celebrating who we are as a community——creative, diverse, and full of energy. It is a chance for everyone to come together, have fun, and support our local artists.” Cirque du Lake will take place from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., with plenty of food trucks, artisan goods, and entertainment to keep you engaged all day long. Admission is free, and all are welcome. This year Sanctuary Glass Studio joins the celebrations at 421 Lake Street with glass blowing demonstrations, Create-Your-Own workshops and glass art sales.
