A Good Day at the Market: RoRo's She Shed & A Venue For You

Locals gathered at RoRo's She Shed & A Venue For You in Prescott for Market Day today and the vendors did not disappoint! Around 18 vendors participated in Market Day and shoppers could find anything from vintage furniture and rustic, home decor to clothing and accessories. Refreshments and snacks were on hand for those interested, plus a multitude of unique and intriguing items with varied themes and concepts.

One such booth was called Two Happy Chicks and provided farm fresh eggs for sale, as well as charming homemade crafts. Another was Shari's Art from the Heart which also offered beautifully-made crafts, in addition to a barbecue sauce made from a 70 year-old secret family recipe. It had quite the bite, too!

Penny Richards from Delight was on the scene with her published novels and artwork. Richards is an established author who wrote for Harlequin Romance at one time under the pseudonym Bay Matthews. She now publishes under her real name and has regained the rights to some of her former work from Harlequin, re-releasing them with new cover art and the Penny Richards name on display.

The items offered for patrons' browsing delight were just as eclectic and compelling as RoRo's She Shed itself. This venue combines an industrial chic motif with a majestic grandeur that is as appealing to the eye as its upcoming weddings will be to the heart. Today's Market is the first event hosted by RoRo's since the ribbon cutting a few weeks ago and proprietor Karen Ward said she was pleased with the turnout. "Today has gone really well," said Ward. "Many who couldn't come to the opening are here today so I've enjoyed seeing them here. I wanted a place people could come to for events, but also enjoy the atmosphere and visit with others in the community."

From one booth to another, the exhibited wares continued to allure participants with items like pens boasting local schools' logos, antique signs and knick-knacks, or bows and jewelry from Rosella's Crafts and Lizzy Kay's Bowtique. One thing remained the same, though, and that was a celebration of the creativity and talent from these local artists. Members of the community praised and applauded the works on display, plus did a little extra shopping so they could become the proud owners of these impressive pieces. All in all, it was a good day to go the the Market at RoRo's She She & A Venue For You.
