A Ribbon Cutting was held this afternoon at the Hope Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce for Ana’s Grooming.
Refreshments were available for the many locals who attended; fruit, cupcakes, blueberry bread along with iced tea and water.
Mayor Don Still welcomed Ana and her husband to town, “It’s always nice to see a new business come into town. We’re happy to have you and wish you all the best,” Still said.
The grooming business does hair cuts and pampering for fur babies of all ages and sizes. Owner Ana J Nickell talked about the her services and hours, “I am new to Hope, but I have almost 20 years experienced working with fur babies. I have traveled with show dogs so now I'm ready to just kind of just tone it down and work one on one with babies. I do not appreciate several dogs in the same space so I work one on one with each baby that come to my door. My business hours are 7am to 3pm or 4pm. And of course special occasions or after hours, weekends and some Sundays. I'm just here to help and give the best that I can to help your fur baby.”
Executive Director of the Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce, Christy Burns said, “It is great to have Ana’s Grooming here in town. I’m especially excited for her to be a part of the chamber of commerce we can’t wait to see how well she’s going to do.“
The ribbon was cut and everyone applauded in appreciation of a new business opening in our ever growing town.
