FAYETTEVILLE - Extending their SEC winning streak to seven games by beating then 10th-ranked Missouri last Tuesday advanced the Arkansas Razorbacks four places in Monday’s Associated Press Men’s Basketball poll.
The now 20th ranked Razorbacks, idle last Saturday because SEC opponent Texas A&M has too many positive covid tests, cracked last week’s rankings at No. 24 for the first tine this season.
Wednesday night at Walton Arena Arkansas, 17-5 overall and tied for second with 9-4 LSU in the SEC hosts Alabama, 18-5 overall and the SEC’s highest ranked team, at No, 6 nationally and leading the SEC at 13-1.
Arkansas completes a daunting week hosting LSU Saturday at Walton.
