Arkansas Democrats React to Supreme Court Denying Gov. Sanders Motion for Stay in House Dist. 70 Special Election Litigation
LITTLE ROCK一 Last night, the Supreme Court denied the Governor and Secretary of State’s requests for stay in our lawsuit to restore representation to the residents of House District 70.

Arkansas Democrats Chair Ret. Army Colonel Marcus Jones said:

“The Supreme Court’s quick action on the preliminary motions is encouraging, and Arkansas Democrats will not back down in the fight for representation in House District 70.

Let’s be clear: The Governor and Secretary of State are ordered to move up the Primary Election to January and the General Election to March.

Taxation without representation is wrong, plain and simple. The Arkansans in House District 70 deserve representation and they’re entitled to it. Arkansas Democrats won’t stop fighting for them.”
