Inspired by a document well-known in ufology, The Memo tells the story of  a clandestine meeting between a retired Director of the Defense Intelligence  Agency and a scientist who worked for the Pentagon. The notes from this  conversation contain answers to the fundamental question, “Are we alone?” 

The Memo features two noted Little Rock actors, Barry Clifton of Yellowstone and The Thing About Pam, and Paul Bowling of The Rooster Rebellion. 

Filmland: Arkansas 2023 is a production of The Arkansas Cinema Society,  which was co-founded by filmmakers and native Arkansans, Jeff Nichols  and Kathryn Tucker.
