Arkansas Government Transparency Amendment Submitted to Arkansas Attorney General; Public Feedback Sought on Proposed Initiated Act
November 27, 2023 (Little Rock, Ark.) – Today, Arkansas Citizens for Transparency submitted the Arkansas Government Transparency Amendment to Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin for approval for inclusion on the 2024 ballot. A public Zoom meeting for the purpose of collecting feedback on the proposed Initiated Act will be held on Wednesday, November 29 from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The Zoom link will be posted at the AR Citizens for Transparency Facebook group an hour in advance of the meeting. A cover letter, the ballot title and the full text of the proposed constitutional amendment is attached to this release as an addendum.
