PIKE COUNTY (1-28) - The Arkansas State Highway Commission has approved a bid for improvements to roadways in Pike County, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.

The purpose of this project is to resurface 1.2 miles of various city streets in the city of Daisy, to include: Crawford Park, Jones Park, Lakeview Ln., W. Park Rd., and Elm Ln. Tri State Asphalt, Inc. of De Queen was awarded the contract at $279,913.25.
Construction is scheduled to begin in two to four weeks, weather permitting. Completion is expected in mid 2021.
