FAYETTEVILLE -- Arkansas has landed a commitment from 2027 4-star big man Caleb Ourigou with the likelihood he reclassifies to the 2026 class very soon.
Ourigou, 6-10, 240, chose Arkansas over UConn, Kentucky and BYU plus 25 other offers. He took official visits to all four of his favorites. He was offered by the Razorbacks on June 14.
Ourigou played his junior season with Overtime Elite in Atlanta. He averaged 6.2 points, 7.7 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game. With the 17-under NY Rens on the EYBL Circuit this summer he's averaging 12.3 points, 8.6 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game while shooting 66% from the field.
Ourigou could make his decision to reclassify to 2026 known following the Nike EYBL Peach Jam this week.
Arkansas still has two spots open on its roster for 2026-27 season. If Ourigou does reclassify as expected he will join the nation's No. 1-ranked recruiting class.
