The Easter egg hunt will begin at 11 a.m. at the Woodson Fun Park, 8300 Woodson Lateral Road, in Woodson. The event is open to children
ages 3 to 7 and aims to foster a spirit of unity and togetherness while commemorating the Easter holiday.
“We are thrilled to partner with the Ossie Barnes Empowerment Foundation to bring this wonderful event to the Hensley-Woodson community,”
DuShun Scarbrough, the Arkansas Martin Luther King, Jr. Commission executive director, said. “At a time when it's more important than ever to come together and celebrate our shared values, the Easter egg hunt provides a perfect opportunity for families to
create lasting memories.”
The Ossie Barnes Empowerment Foundation echoed this sentiment, expressing enthusiasm for the collaboration.
“As an organization dedicated to promoting community engagement and cultural enrichment, we are honored to join forces with the
Arkansas Martin Luther King, Jr. Commission for this festive occasion,” Paula Withers, the director of the Ossie Barnes Empowerment Foundation, said. “Together, we hope to spread joy and positivity throughout our community.”
Admission to the Easter egg hunt is free of charge, and all members of the community are invited to participate. Attendees are encouraged
