FAYETTEVILLE – The University of Arkansas announced its 2024-25 non-conference men’s basketball schedule. The Razorbacks will play 13 nonconference games, starting Nov. 6 versus Lipscomb at home, with eight contests in Bud Walton Arena, four on neutral courts and one true road game. Also, the SEC announced the TV designations and start times for selected Razorback games.

Lipscomb
• Nov. 6 – Wednesday
• Bud Walton Arena
• Arkansas is 3-0 all-time versus the Bisons. Arkansas defeated Lipscomb, 69-66, last year in North Little Rock. Arkansas also defeated the Bisons twice in Bud Walton Arena, including 86-50 on Dec. 5, 2020 and 83-54 on Dec. 20, 2004.
Vs. Baylor
• Nov. 9 – Saturday
• Dallas, Texas (American Airlines Center)
• Arkansas leads the series with Baylor, 96-49, but Baylor has won three straight in the series. This will be the sixth time the Razorbacks and Bears have met in Dallas and Arkansas owns a 4-1 advantage in the previous five matchups. The last time the programs met was Jan. 28, 2023, for the SEC-Big 12 Challenge in Waco, a game then #17 Baylor won 67-64. Prior to that, then #3 Baylor defeated then #10 Arkansas in the 2021 NCAA Elite 8. This will be just the fifth time Arkansas and Baylor have met since the Razorbacks left the Southwest Conference after the 1990-91 season. Arkansas is 24-13 all-time in Dallas thanks in part to winning four SWC Tournament titles in Reunion Arena (1982, ’89, ’90 and ’91).

• Arkansas is 5-1 all-time versus Troy, including a 3-1 mark in games played in Bud Walton Arena. The last time the Trojans faced Arkansas was Nov. 28, 2022 in Bud Walton Arena. Then #11 Arkansas won 74-61.
Pacific
• Nov. 18 – Monday
• Bud Walton Arena
• This will be the first meeting with the Pacific Tigers.
Little Rock
• Nov. 22 – Friday

• Arkansas and Little Rock have officially only met once, a 93-78 Razorback victory on Dec. 4, 2021, in Bud Walton Arena. However, the two programs met for the first time “unofficially” on Oct. 19, 2019, in a charity exhibition game to commemorate the naming of Nolan Richardson Court in Bud Walton Arena. Arkansas won that exhibition, 79-64.
Maryland-Eastern Shore

• This will be the second meeting with the UMES. The Razorbacks claimed a 100-40 decision versus the Hawks on Jan. 2, 2001.
Vs. Illinois

• Arkansas and Illinois will make history as this game will be the first Thanksgiving Day, college basketball game ever televised on CBS. Illinois leads the all-time series 5-1. However, the lone Razorback win came in the last meeting between the schools, a 73-63 Arkansas victory in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Arkansas is 8-6 all-time in games played in Kansas City.
At Miami (Fla.)
• Dec. 3 – Tuesday
• Coral Gables, Fla. || SEC/ACC Challenge
• In the first year of the SEC/ACC Challenge, Arkansas will travel to the University of Miami. This will be just the second meeting between the two programs. The only other matchup came in the first round of the 2000 NCAA Tournament, a game then #23 Miami won, 75-71.
UT San Antonio
• Dec. 7 – Saturday

• Arkansas is a perfect 6-0 versus the UTSA Roadrunners. The first meeting between the programs was in San Antonio (Nov. 30, 1981) with the next five being played in Arkansas – three in Fayetteville, one in Little Rock and one in North Little Rock.
Vs. Michigan

• New York City (Madison Square Garden)
• Arkansas and Michigan will meet in game two of the 2024 Jimmy V Classic. Arkansas and Michigan have met on seven previous occasions with the Wolverines holding a slight 4-3 advantage in the series. One of those seven previous meetings was also played in Madison Square Garden with Michigan defeating the Razorbacks, 77-62, in the 1997 NIT semifinals. Arkansas is 3-8 all-time in Madison Square Garden, playing a playoff game to represent USA in the 1936 Olympics, a series of games in the 1940’s, two games in the 1997 NIT and two games in the 1990 Preseason NIT.
Vs. Central Arkansas

• North Little Rock (Simmons Bank Arena)
• As a reminder, this game IS NOT part of the 2024-25 Arkansas men’s basketball season ticket plan.
• Arkansas is 8-0 all-time versus Central Arkansas. This will be the first time the programs have meet in North Little Rock. Six of the meetings came in the 1920’s, 30’s and 40’s. In the modern era, Arkansas defeated the Bears in back-to-back years in Bud Walton Arena including a 100-75 decision on Dec. 12, 2020, and 97-60 on Dec. 1, 2021. Arkansas is 18-10 all-time in North Little Rock (14-10 in the now known Simmons Bank Arena).
Vs. North Carolina A&T
• Dec. 21 – Saturday
• Bud Walton Arena
• Arkansas is 3-0 versus the Aggies. The last meeting was an 87-59 Razorback win on Dec. 29, 2010, in Bud Walton Arena. The two programs met twice in the mid 90’s. First, then #2 Arkansas beat A&T, 94-79, in the first round of the 1994 NCAA Tournament. Then, the teams play in Bud Walton Arena on Nov. 30, 1995, with Arkansas winning 103-49.
Vs. Oakland

• Arkansas is 2-0 all-time versus Oakland. Arkansas hosted and defeated the Golden Grizzlies on Dev. 14, 2006 (91-57) and Nov. 16, 2011 (91-68).
