FAYETTEVILLE -- Arkansas fell to Alabama 4-3 on Wednesday and now they are tentatively set to play on Friday morning in the SEC Tournament.

The Hogs are seeded No. 3 and are slated to face the loser of Texas A&M and Florida. But Thursday's first game between Vanderbilt and Tennessee is in a rain delay in the first inning. In addition to the Aggies and Gators, LSU is supposed to face Kentucky on Thursday.

At this time the SEC has tentatively set Arkansas' game for 9:30 a.m. on Friday. But with all the rain delays there's also speculation the SEC may opt to go to a single-elimination tournament. If they do then Arkansas is finished there.

But that decision hasn't been handed down at this time. Arkansas fell five spots in the RPI following its loss to Alabama on Wednesday. It appears very likely the Razorbacks will hit the road for a regional. The Top-16 teams host regionals and with the Razorbacks losing four of its last five games they are likely not hosting as was expected a couple of weeks ago.

Some speculation has Arkansas being a No. 2 seed at either Austin, Texas, or Stillwater, Okla.
