ASP LOCATES ABDUCTED MISSISSIPPI TEEN ROGERS MAN ARRESTED FOR LURING ONLINE, KIDNAPPING

October 29, 2024ROGERS, Ark. — On Monday, October 28, 2024, Arkansas State Troopers located a 16-year-old boy reported missing the previous day from Brandon, Mississippi. The teen was recovered unharmed from the suspect’s Rogers home. Kaleb James Cannady, 33, is being held at the Benton County Detention Center on a Mississippi warrant for Kidnapping and Online Enticement.

After the Rankin County (Mississippi) Sheriff’s Department received information that the teenager had been lured online, the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation and that state’s Attorney General’s Office identified Cannady as a suspect. A BOLO for the pair was issued Monday, October, 28, 2024. ASP Troopers located the boy at about 7:15 p.m.

Assisting agencies included the Bella Vista Police and Bentonville Police departments and the Arkansas Highway Police.
