ASP SEEKING INFORMATION FROM PUBLIC IN FATAL HIT-AND-RUN
May 30, 2024 EARLE, Ark. — On May 30, 2024, at approximately 5:39 a.m., Arkansas State Police responded to a pedestrian accident on Hwy. 64 just west of the County Line Liquor Store in Cross County. When Troopers arrived, they found the victim, identified as Lucille Hollis, 66, lying on the south shoulder of Hwy. 64. Mrs. Hollis had suffered a fatal injury in the accident. Evidence found at the scene indicates Mrs. Hollis was struck by a late model GMC/Chevrolet pickup truck while she was walking eastbound on the shoulder of Hwy. 64.
