Bears Beat Genoa Central 10-6 Tuesday Night in 9 Innings
Genoa- A clash of teams with lofty expectations faced off on Tuesday night in Genoa, as Mason Moore got the nod for the Bears.

The game was knotted at 4-4 after the fifth inning, but Spring Hill would scrape across a pair of runs in the top half of the sixth inning to take a 6-4 lead. The Dragons would show that resilience they carry around, and plate two runs in the bottom of the seventh to force extras.

Spring Hill would score four runs in the top of the ninth, and Reed Fisher would shut the door on the Dragons in the bottom half of the 9th to pick up the Bears second win of the week.

Nine pitchers combined pitched in the game for both teams. The staff for Genoa struck out a dozen Bears and the Bears struck out six total Dragons. Fisher picked up the win.

At the dish for the Bears, Andrew Carrillo and Maddox Dickson each had multi-hit games and both drove in runs. Mason Moore and Karson Hamilton each had doubles, Hamilton had two RBI and Moore had one. Colin Overton added a knock for the Bears and two RBI.

Spring Hill is back in action this weekend in the Ashdown Tourney.
