Bears Beat Taylor 58-47 Tuesday Night
Spring Hill- With just one week remaining until the District Tournament begins, the Bears hosted the Taylor Tigers on Tuesday night in a non-conference matchup. Spring Hill jumped out to an early lead in this one, outscoring the Tigers 19-13 in the opening quarter behind 8 first quarter points from Maverick Mills. In the 2nd quarter, the Bears extended their lead to 29-22 at the half, as the defense allowed just 9 total points in the second quarter. 

Spring Hill would go on to outscore Taylor 29-25 in the second half, as the got a big effort in the 4th quarter from Karson Hamilton who scored 9 points in the final quarter of play to help the Bears secure the 58-47 win. 

Maverick Mills torched the nets for 27 points, as he was very efficient throughout the entire game. Karson Hamilton and Jett Durham each scored 9 points for Spring Hill, with Reese Tarver hitting a pair of 3's and Grant Hudman scoring 5 points. Kaleb Anderson added 2. 

Spring Hill is back in action on Friday night as they host Bradley in their final game before tournament time starts.
