Bears Begin Conference Play 1-0 with Win Over Foreman on Tuesday Night
Spring Hill- The Spring Hill Bears hosted the Gators on Tuesday night in their conference opener and left the diamond with a 12-10 win to begin conference play 1-0. Spring Hill banged out 8 hits and worked 7 walks, as they applied pressure to Foreman pitching all game long. 

Reed Fisher had a team-high 3 hits on Tuesday and drove in 2 runs. Colin Overton had a double, a single, and an RBI. Mason Moore led the team with 3 RBI, as he smashed a double. Maddox Dickson also roped a double and drove in a run. Jaxon Smith reached base in four plate appearances with a single and 3 walks. Smith also had an RBI. Brady Rhodes scored 3 runs in the game. While Reese Tarver had an RBI and a run scored. 

Reese Tarver started the game on the mound for Coach Loe's team, as he pitched around some walks and a couple of errors to really limit the Gators offense. Tarver struck out 3 batters. Karson Hamilton came in the game in relief and picked up the win, allowing just 1 ER and striking out 5 batters in 2 1/3 innings of work. Mason Moore came into the game in the 7th inning to shut the door on any hopes of a Forman comeback. 

Spring Hill is back in action on Friday as they head to Dierks.
