Bears Claw past Junction City 8-4

Spring Hill- The Bears took a 6-4 lead in the bottom of the 5th inning and never looked back as they beat Junction City 8-4. Jayce Moore broke the 4-4 tie in the 5th inning with an RBI double, the Beas would add another that inning, and 2 more runs in the 6th. Carson Moore picked up the win on the mound scattering just 5 hits and allowing 4 runs while striking out 2 batters. The offense racked up 10 hits Monday night, as Jayce Moore, Andrew Carillo, Mason Moore, and Reese Tarver each had multiple hits. Carillo drove in a team high 4 runs, he also recorded the last 3 outs on the mound to secure the win for the Bears. Carson Moore and Cade Watson each added singles. The win brings Spring Hill’s record to 7-3 on the season as they gear up for their next game in DeQueen Thursday at 4:30.
