Foreman- Spring Hill hit the road and headed to Foreman on Friday night for a conference battle between the Bears and Gators. Physicality was the Bears mindset going into the game and that mindset led to Spring Hill dominating the game in the trenches. The Bears piled up 298 rushing yards, including two 100+ yard rushers in Jaxon Smith and Tucker Vickers. Smith finished the night with 101 rushing yards and 3 TDs, while Vickers averaged over 10 yards per carry, finishing with 111 yards and 2 TDs. Reese Tarver scampered in the endzone from 20 yards out to round out the ground attack from the Bears.
Karson Hamilton snagged a 51-yard TD pass from Jaxon Smith, as that is now Hamilton's 6th TD in 3 games. The offense was rolling on Friday night, huge thanks to the big guys up front, as they created running lanes all game long.
The defense showed up in a big way for the Bears, keeping the Gators out of the endzone for most of the night, and limiting long drives. Great team win for the Bears and they have a date with Gurdon on Friday night as they welcome to Go-Devils to Bear Country.
