Bears Drop Game to Tough Woodlawn Team

Woodlawn- Spring Hill found themselves tied with Woodlawn going into the bottom of the 6th inning, but Woodlawn scored 6 runs in the sixth inning and Spring Hill dropped the game 10-5. The Bears got on the board in the 3rd inning as Mason Moore drove in Reese Tarver. The next batter Carson Moore drove in 2 runs with a single to left field. The game would stay really tight up until the bottom of the 6th. Jayce and Mason Moore led the Bears at the plate with 2 hits each. Carson Moore, Levin McGuire, and Teyton Barton each had singles for the Bears as well. Reese Tarver and Zane Minton both pitched well and combined for 6 strikeouts. The Bears are back in action Friday as they travel to Murfreesboro for a big conference matchup, as the Bears can jump a spot in the standings with a win over the Rattlers.
