Spring Hill jumped out to a big lead in the first half as they led at the half 35-22 behind some great defense and some knock-down shooting from Jakob Perry as he drained four 3-pointers in the first half. The Bears would expand their lead in the third quarter as they outscored the Tigers 13-8 in the 3rd quarter. The Bears would cruise to a 57-48 victory.
"Our perimeter defense was much better tonight, only allowing two 3-pointers tonight," Coach Austin Kidd said. The Bears would also out rebound the Tigers 34-17 as they dominated the glass on Friday night.
The Bears offensive production was spread out as they had four Bears players in double-figures. Austin Stone dominated the paint on Friday night as he posted a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds, Stone also hosted his own block party Friday night as he had 4 blocks. Maverick Mills shot the ball well from the outside, knocking down three 3-pointers and finishing the game with 13 points. Jakob Perry and Levin McGuire had 12 points each. Andrew Wylie (2) and Karson Hamilton (1) each scored for the Bears.
Spring Hill is back in action on Monday night as they host the Rattlers in a key conference matchup for Senior Night.
