Bears Score in Bottom of the 6th to Top Dierks 5-4
Spring Hill- The Bears fell behind the Outlaws early in this one, as Dierks scored 3 runs in the top of the 1st inning to take a 3-0 lead. The score would remain 3-0 until Spring Hill finally broke through in the bottom of the fourth inning to plate 2 runs as Maddox Dickson knocks in a run on a sacrifice and the Corbin Overton smacks an RBI single and brings home Jaxon Smith. The Outlaws would score in the 5th to make their lead 4-2, but Spring Hill would tie the game in the bottom half of the inning on an RBI single from Karson Hamilton and a Jaxon Smith RBI single. Spring Hill would put some pressure of Dierks on the base-path in the sixth, as Zane Minton scores to give the Bears their first lead of the game. Mason Moore came in and shut the door on the Outlaws to gvie Spring Hill the win. Carson Moore pitched a great game, as he pitched around a few defensive miscues early to minimize the damage and he gave the Bears exactly what they needed on the mound for them to come back and win the game. Moore finished with 6IP, 0ER, and 5Ks. The Bears offense banged out 7 hits as a team and Zane Minton led the way with 2 hits. Reese Tarver smacked a double, Karon Hamilton, Jaxon Smith, and Corbin Overton each had an RBI single. Brady Rhodes added a single and scored a run for the Bears. The Bears are back in action on Tuesday as they host Fouke.
