Murfreesboro- The Bears claimed the lead in the first inning with 3 runs and never looked back as they tacked on some runs in the 5th and 6th inning to put the game out of reach, claiming victory over Murfreesboro 9-1. Andrew Carillo pitched a gem Thursday night, allowing just 1 run through 6 innings of work while striking out 6 Rattlers. Carson Moore came in and worked a clean 7th inning, striking out the final batter to secure the win. Carson Moore also had a single and 3 RBIs in the game from the plate. Mason Moore proved to be a tough out for Murfreesboro as he went 3-4 with 2 RBI in the game. Cade Watson ripped an RBI double in the 6thinning and would then score on a sacrifice fly from Zane Minton. Levin McGuire and Jayce Moore each added singles and swiped a bag apiece in the win for the Bears. The win puts Spring Hill in 2nd place in conference play with a 3-1 record. Spring Hill has a home conference game Monday night against Foreman.
