Parkers Chapel- The Bear Track team had a great showing this past Thursday as they finished in 3rd place earning 80 points as a team. A lot of great performances by the Bears athletes as Austin Stone won the Triple Jump, Chandler Griffen winning the 3200M run and the Bears 4x800M Relay finished in 2nd place. Here are the Spring Hill athletes’ individual finishes and places:

Field Events:

High Jump- Austin Stone 2nd place, Griffen Chandler 7th, Cooper Plyler 10th

Long Jump- Austin Stone 8th place, Alex Arriaga 15th place

Triple Jump- Austin Stone won 1st place (40-8), Kaiden McHenry-Jones earned 2nd place, Terry Tipson 6thplace

Shot Put- Terry Tipton 10th place, Aaryn Bradford 26th, Caleb Clayton 32nd

Discus Throw- Terry Tipton 8th place, Tucker Runion 12th, Caleb Clayton 26th

Running Events:

3200M- Chandler Griffen won 1st place, Andrew Wylie finished in 2nd place, Adrian West 5th

1600M- Chandler Griffen 4th place, Andrew Wylie 6th place, Adrian West 14th

100M- Alex Arriaga 19th, Terry Tipton 29th, Jarrett Cox 32nd

200M- Terry Tipton 15th place, Jarrett Cox, 17th, Maverick Mills 18th

400M- Alex Arriaga 8th place, Jacob Perry 16th, Maverick Mills 21st

800M- Griffen Chandler 11th, Andrew Wylie 14th, Grant Hudman 16th

110 Hurdles- Austin Stone 4th place, Clay Yocum 10th, Stephen Eberhardy 12th

300 Hurdles- Austin Stone 2nd place, Clay Yocum 6th place, Cooper Plyler 12th

4x100 Relay- Spring Hill 7th place

4x200 Relay- Spring Hill 9th place

4x400 Relay- Spring Hill 6th place

4x800 Relay- Spring Hill 2nd place

Great showing by the athletes this past week, the Bears Track Team is back in action Thursday as they travel to Genoa.
