Hampton- Spring Hill traveled to Hampton Friday to earn its third win of the young season as they defeated Hampton 8-4, improving to 3-0 on the season. Zane Minton earned the win on the mound for the Bears scattering 4 runs (3ER) while striking out 4 batters. Minton also had a great day at the plate with 3 singles and 2 RBIs to help lead the Bears to a win. Cade Watson had a good game at the plate, tying the game with a single in the fourth inning on one of his 2 hits. Andrew Carillo had an RBI single as well. In total the Bears banged out 9 hits and drew 5 walks, leading to a good offensive night scoring 8 runs. The Bears are back in action Saturday as they play host to Bearden.
