The Spring Hill offense scored 9 points in the first quarter, but then the shots started falling as they scored 20 points in the 2nd, 18 in the 3rd, and 22 in the 4th quarter to win the game 69-67. Defense stepped up when it needed to, to limit the runs from the Indians. "We got to get stops," Coach Kidd said at the half, as the Spring Hill defense made plays when it needed to to secure the win.
Andrew Wylie would lead the Bears with 20 points, including 12 points in the fourth quarter. Austin Stone had 12 points for Spring Hill, and Jakob Perry and Maverick Mills each scored 11 points. Perry would hit three 3-pointers in the first half. Levin McGuire would add 7 points, Karson Hamilton would score 4, including a big steal for a layup to end the third quarter, and Blane Tuttle and JP would each add 2 points.
The Bears advance to face Dierks on Thursday night. The Bears and Outlaws split their matchups this season, so a neutral-court game will send one of these two teams to the District Championship.
