Chief Beavers is a Prescott Native graduating from Prescott High School. He began his law enforcement career in 1988 as a Military Police officer with the United States Army. He then began his Civilian Police career in 1992 working with the Ft. Smith Police Department. Since that time, He has served as a Patrol Agent with the United States Border Patrol and served for nearly twelve years as a Special Agent with the Arkansas State Police Criminal Investigations Division. In 2011 he became Assistant Chief of Police for the City of Prescott Police Department. In March of 2017, he was appointed as Chief Of Police for Prescott. He is married, they have two children and one grandson.

Officer Neal started his career with the Hope Police Department in 1990. He attended the Arkansas Law Enforcement  Training Academy in 1991. While serving at the Hope Police Department, he moved up the ranks as Corporal, Patrol Sergeant and with the Criminal Investigations Division as Detective .In 2000 Neal left the Hope Police Department to become a Wildlife Officer with the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission. He has since been promoted to the rank of Corporal. Officer Neal is married, has 6 children and 6 Grandchildren.    

The  overall 2019 Law Enforcement Officer of the Year for the State of Arkansas recipient was Corporal Brett Thompson from Washington County
