Beryl Henry Elementary School fifth grade students recently competed in the Southwest Arkansas Education Cooperative Kids Can Code event, bringing back second place in The Microbit Challenge event. Microbit Challenge team members included Jair Arroyo, Emma Pendergrass, Kaylynn Drake, and Tynesha Rhinehart. The contest required collaborative thinking to solve problems using a microprocessor which the students programmed to produce music from an instrument of their original design. – Hope Public Schools
