BHE STAR Assessment Make-up Slated

HOPE – Beryl Henry Elementary School students enrolled in the Hope from Home Virtual Academy who were unable to attend the beginning of year STAR Assessment at BHE will have a make-up opportunity.

BHE Principal Dr. Roy Turner said fifth grade students will be tested Sept. 29 at 8:30 a.m. and sixth grade students will test Sept. 30 at 8:30 a.m.

“Students will need to come to campus for testing,” Dr. Turner said. “We will test in the cafeteria.”

Students are to bring their district-issue Chromebook and should be certain it is fully charged.

“Parents need to drop off students at 8 a.m., but students should be here no later than 8:15 a.m., so we can start promptly at 8:30 a.m.,” Turner said. “Students will be temperature screened upon entry into the building.”

Parents should pick up students in the BHE bus lane at 9:45 a.m., he said.

“If you have any questions, please call 777-6222,” Turner said.
