Big Third Quarter Propels Jays to 68-51 Win Over Strong
Nevada- Thursday night was the third meeting between the Jays and Strong, with both teams winning on their home courts.

As stated in SWARKToday's tournament preview, this is the matchup the Jays wanted. It didn't start off the best for Nevada as they trailed the entire first half, and they headed into the break trailing Strong 30-28. But the third quarter has been the Jays' best quarter this entire season, as Coach Jamario Bell preaches starting the second half strong.

Some Eric Musselman-like adjustments were made, and the Jays outscored the Bulldogs 18-4 in the third quarter to blow the game open. Nevada finished the game on a small run to earn the 68-51 win, as they outscored Strong 40-21 in the second-half.

Kavion Coleman led the way in scoring for the Blue Jays with 20 points, Coleman also grabbed 9 rebounds, and dished out 5 assists. Brycten Harris continues to impress, as he scored 18 points, grabbed 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals. Cardi Adair played probably one of his better games of the season, as he finished with 14 points and 8 rebounds and got whatever he wanted all game. Kobe Hughey showed up big off the bench for the Jays with 6 points, 5 boards, 2 assists, and 2 key blocks. Justin Myrick sparked the Jays in the second quarter with two 3-pointers to finish the game with 6 points.

With the win, the Blue Jays are set to take on Dermott for the District Championship at 8:00 p.m. tonight at The Nest.
