Blue Jays Beat Kirby 13-2
Kirby- The Nevada baseball team traveled to Kirby for a game on Tuesday night and the bats most definitely made the trip, as they scored 13 runs en route to a 13-2 win. Wesley Almand banged out 2 hits and drove in 3 runs to lead the Blue Jays at the plate. Nathan Pipkins had a hit and 3 RBI, and Travis McClure drove in 2 runs on a hit as well for the offense. Nevada was active on the bases as Braylon Srebalus swiped 2 bags, and Travis McClure and Brogan Rhodes each stole a base too. Brogan Rhodes got the nod from the skipper and tossed 3 no-hit innings, striking out 5 batters. Nathan Pipkins came in relief and struck out 3 in two innings of work. Nevada is back in action on Friday as they travel to Mineral Springs in a big time conference game.
