Blue Jays Beat Kirby 70-58, Advance to Finals
Blevins- Nevada got off to a fast start and weathered the storm throughout the middle part of the game, and led by double-digits most of the way in the 4th quarter to take down the Trojans 70-58. 

"Our boys expect to be in the finals, they work hard all year and tonight we played well and got a win against a well-coach Kirby team and we were fortunate enough to make the plays to win, our seniors played well, Kobe scored 20, Keyonte has started a lot of big games and keeps us going, Hurk always plays hard and if he makes a mistake we don't worry cause he is going to make up for it, we have a well-rounded team where anyone can score at anytime," Coach Eddie Beck said on his teams win advancing to the District finals and his seniors contribution. 

Kobe Hughey led the Jays in scoring with a 20-piece. Hughey also grabbed 8 rebounds. Rico Aparicio caught fire early, scoring 15 points and dished out 5 assists. Monti Mixon scored 11 and had 6 rebounds. Taco Roberson had 9 points and 5 rebounds. Keyonte Wingfield scored 7 and dished out a team-high 7 assists. Tre King scored 5 and Hurk Burns hit free-throw. The Blue Jays had 21 assists on 25 made FGs. 

Nevada advances to the District Finals vs Blevins. Tipoff is set for 6:30pm.
