Nevada- The Nevada Blue Jays got back to their winning ways on Tuesday night, as they put up 15 runs on the Trojans, as they won the game in 6 innings 15-5. Brogan Rhodes got the nod from Coach Rhodes in this conference matchup and Brogan pitched well on Tuesday, as he scattered just 1 hit and struck out 8 batters.
Tristan Griffith came in relief and tossed the final 3 innings, striking out 7 batters, allowing just 2 hits.
At the plate, the Jays were led by Wesley Almand and Braylon Srebalus, as they both had 2 hits and had 2 RBI each. Brandon Wilson had a double and 2 RBI, while Justin Myrick, Tristan Griffith, Caleb Moss each had a single. Griffith and Moss added an RBI each. Colin Nelson had an RBI and scored a run.
With the win, the Blue Jays are now 1-1 in conference play with a big game conference game next Monday against Mineral Springs.
