Blue Jays Earn Huge 69-65 Road Win Friday Night in Summerfield, LA
Summerfield, LA- Nevada (7-0) hit the road and traveled into a hostile environment in Summerfield and came away with a hard-fought win against the Rebels to win 69-65 and improve to 7-0 on the season. 

After the game Coach Jamario Bell spoke about his team's effort and intensity: "So proud of my guys tonight. We were trailing at the half, but the guys came out and won the third quarter 22-7. We are a resilient group, and we are continuing to find ways to win and grow every night." 

"It was their homecoming tonight for Summerfield, so the gym was packed out, and it was a great environment to play in, and it really tested our guys. Great team win," Coach Bell said. 

Brycten Harris had 13 of his 17 points in the third quarter to catapult the Blue Jays in the lead and in the fourth Kavion Coleman had nine points, and Justin Myrick hit a huge three-pointer to keep Nevada on top. 

Junior Kavion Coleman continues to put his offensive skills on display as he went for 32 points Friday night, including five three-pointers (four of which were in the first quarter). Coleman also played great defense with five steals.

Brycten Harris continues to lead this team on the court, as when the Blue Jays came out of the break down five, and Harris took over the third quarter. Harris ended with 17 points, six assists, five rebounds, and two steals.

Keyonte Wingfield brought the intensity and had five points, seven assists, and five rebounds. Cardi Adair (5), Kobe Hughey (3), Justin Myrick (3), Brogan Rhodes (2), and Caleb Moss (2) each scored and played well for Nevada. 

The Blue Jays travel to Bradley on Tuesday for a non-conference matchup. Nevada beat Bradley 81-75 on Nov. 3rd. Expect another great game on Tuesday.
