Blue Jays Earn Win In Dermott, Improve to 8-0 In Conference Play
Dermott- Nevada (21-6) traveled to a tough environment on Friday night as they headed out of town to take on the Rams, the number 2 team in the conference. Dermott entered the game on a six-game conference winning streak, but all good things must come to an end as the Jays flew into town and snapped the Rams winning streak with a 63-60 win.

Nevada improves to 8-0 in conference and has a two-game lead over the entire conference. "This was a tough game in a tough environment, but our guys weathered the storm and played hard and we're leaving with a big road win," Coach Jamario Bell said.

Kavion Coleman led the Blue Jays in scoring as he torched the nets for 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Keyonte Wingfield poured in 17 points, including two huge 3-pointers in the second half, Wingfield also added 5 rebounds. Brycten Harris scored 14 points, 8 rebounds, 3 rebounds, and 3 steals as he played well on both ends of the floor. Cardi Adaire posted another double-double as he finished the game with 10 points and 12 rebounds.

Weather permitting, the Jays are set to travel to Bearden on Tuesday. If the winter storm causes a cancellation on Tuesday, we will make the schedule change on our page.
