Lafayette County-  It was a struggle for most of the game for both teams to find ways to get shots to fall, and no made basket was an easy basket as both defenses played well. Nevada trailed 24-15 at the half against host team Lafayette County. The Blue Jays turned the game around in the third quarter outscoring the Cougars 17-11. After a hard fought fourth quarter, both teams were sitting at 42 points each heading into overtime. A struggle to get anything offensively going for Nevada in overtime, the Cougars took control and won 52-46. Jalen Lowe led the Blue Jays with 14 points and Chad Blake scored 8. Brycten Harris and LaQualen Christopher both added 7 points each. Nevada will be back in action this next week in the State Tournament, times TBA.
