As mentioned in Bell's comments, ten different Blue Jays put the ball in the basket, which is a great sign. Myrick led the way for Nevada as he scored 18 points, including two 3-pointers. Kobe Hughey continued his excellent play on Tuesday as he scored 10 points and added 4 assists. Rico Aparicio added 8 points, with Monti Mixon and Brogan Rhodes each scoring 7 points. Rhodes added 11 rebounds to lead Nevada in the rebounding category. Tatum John scored 6 points, Hurkillis Burns scored 4, Reid Casey splashed in a 3-pointer, and Caleb Moss, Keyonte Wingfield, and Tobin Campbell each scored 2 to round out the scoring for the Jays.Â
The Jays are back in action on Friday as they host Mount Ida for Homecoming, as they will look to improve to 3-0 in conference play.Â
