Prescott-  The Bobcats split a pair of games Friday in Prescott. They lost a close game to Linden Kildare and then beat Gurdon 14-5 in the 2nd game of the day.

The Bobcats found themselves in a tough game against a very good LK baseball team. Jack Johnson and KD Gulley led the Bobcats at the plate with 2 hits each. Calvin Haynes added a double and 2 RBIs. Gulley came in the game to pitch the last inning and struck out all 3 batters he faced.Â

The Bobcats jumped out to a 6-run lead going into the bottom of the 2nd inning and did not look back as they added 7 more runs in the fourth inning to put the game out of reach as they cruised to a 14-5 victory. Tyler Patterson earned the win on the mound scattering 5 runs and striking out 6 batters. 4 Bobcats had multi-hit games against Gurdon, Patterson added a double and a single at the plate. KD Gulley, Issac Love, and Camden Green each had 2 hits, as Green also drove in 3 runs. The Bobcats are back in action Tuesday as they travel to Camden-Fairview.Â
