The Hope attack was slow starting, as they did not score a goal in the first half, leaving a 0-0 score at the break. A penalty opportunity arose for the Bobcats and Lucas Sanchez converted on the chance to give Hope a 1-0 lead. Bradley Brown would break through for the Bobcats a few minutes later on a ball that bounced back to him from Soyne Munoz to give them a 2-0 lead. Less than a minute later, Elliott Vazquez found Brown for the third goal of the game on a nice pass, to give Hope a commanding 3-0 lead.
The defense would hold true, shutting out the Miners, and capturing a 3-0 win.
Hope is back on the pitch Friday night vs Nashville.
