Bobcats Beat Magnolia 6-0 Behind Yahir Velazquez's Hat Trick
Hope- The Bobcats earned their second conference win of the week with a 6-0 win over Magnolia, as the goals started pouring in late in the 2nd half. The Goalkeeper duo of Jacob Pacheco and Joel Bello combined for a clean sheet in Hope's shutout win.

The star of the night was Yahir Velazquez, as he showed out, and scored a hat trick, along with a nice assist in the second half. After the game Josh Ramos spoke on the win and the play from Velazquez, "We came out and moved the ball well in the first half, we lost our momentum but big man Yahir he came and got us a hat trick."

Hope had a commanding 2-0 lead at the half, as they controlled the ball throughout the opening half, and limited any chances for the Panthers to score goals and get back into the game. In the second half it was all Bobcats, as they scored four more goals and the defense was dominant, as Hope cruised to a 6-0 win.

Elliott Vazquez scored the first goal of the game on a nice pass from Anthony Dominguez. Yahir scored his first of three goals on a great cross from Brian Jimenez, to give the Bobcats a 2-0 lead at the half.

Velazquez got the scoring going with his second goal of the night, as Bradley Brown gave him a nice pass. Jonathon Hernandez got in on the action, as he found the back of the net, as Yahir earned the assist. Nathan Sanchez scored the 5th goal of the night for Hope. All that leading up to the goal of the night, as Josh Ramos found Yahir Velazquez for his hat trick on a nice cross, and Yahir scored a no-look goal to ice the game 6-0.

Hope is set to travel to DeQueen on Friday for a conference showdown.
