Bobcats Beat Nashville 6-2, Aniell Felipe Scores 4 Goals... Again
Nashville- The Hope boys' soccer team stays unbeaten with a 6-2 conference win on the road in Nashville on Tuesday night, and improved to 3-0 in conference play in front of a great Bobcats crowd who traveled extremely well. Aniell Felipe had another impressive 4-goal night to help propel the Bobcats to victory. The Bobcats did a great job controlling the tempo of the game and making Nashville play at their pace.

Aniell Felipe got the scoring going early as he found the back of the net for his first goal of the night on a nice assist from Carlos Garcia. Felipe would then set up freshman Nathan Sanchez for his first goal of the season, as he made a nice move on the goalkeeper and sent the ball in the net. The Bobcats' third goal of the night was a very impressive one as Brian Jimenez ran down the wing and sent a very nice cross to Alex Hernandez for the finish with a beautiful banger goal that extended the Bobcats' lead to 3-0. Nashville would get a goal back to bring the match to 3-1 a few minutes later. Then Nathan Sanchez found Aniell Felipe with a nice pass, to set up Felipe's second goal of the match to make the Hope lead 4-1 at the half.

Nashville would score again in the second half to cut the Hope lead in half to 4-2. Moments later, Sal Sanchez made a nice move on a defender and delivered a perfect ball to Aniell Felipe as he found the back of the net for his third goal of the match. The Bobcats attack was not through yet, as Anthony Dominguez sent a great through ball to Felipe, as he raced down the field and knocked in his fourth goal of the night to seal the Bobcats' 6-2 win over the Scrappers.

Goalkeeper Jose Bello continues to impress and made multiple great saves last night, as he has been a key part in the early success of the Bobcats' young season, along with the defense of Gio Ruiz, Sergio Brand and Carlos Garcia who all continue to play a winning brand of soccer for the Bobcats. Sal Sanchez, Johnathan Hernandez, Joshua Ramos, and Carlos Zapata played very well on Tuesday night also.

After the game Aniell Felipe spoke on the Bobcats win, "It feels good. The team came out, and we did our thing ." This is the Bobcats' second 6-goal game in a row, and Aniell's second 4-goal game, as the offense is finding ways to get great looks at the goal. Coach Josh Marshall and Coach Edumundo Dominguez are doing a great job and are very excited about how the year is starting off.
