Elliott Vazquez scored the first goal of the game, as the Bobcats were awarded a penalty kick. The Bobcats gave Malvern a PK just moments later, as they tied the game. The game was knotted at 1-1 for about 50 minutes, before Hope broke through at the end of regulation to earn the 2-1 win. Fabian Aguilar spoke on the win after the game, “Today we started off well, we were able to finally get a penalty, we got a goal, they got a goal on us, but we found a way to get the win late.”

The Bobcats did a great job of possessing the ball throughout the match, but really struggled to finish at the net. The opportunities were there, but the Malvern GK made numerous saves throughout the night. Great win for the Bobcats, as they will try and make it two wins in two nights, as they host Magnolia on Wednesday for another conference game.
