Bobcats Drop Tough Road Game to Bismarck Thursday Night
Bismarck- The Bobcats hit the road for Bismarck on Thursday for a non-conference matchup against the Lions. The Bobcats jumped out to an early 1-0 lead after the first inning, as Jaiden Brown drew a leadoff walk, Jack Johnson roped a single, then the baserunning took over, as Brown would steal third, and home giving the Bobcats the lead. Bismarck would go on to add 2 runs in the 2nd and 3rd innings, as the Bobcats found themselves trailing 4-1 heading into the fourth. 

Hope would threaten late in the game, but couldn't scrape across any runs, as they would drop a tough road game 6-1 to the Lions. 

The Bobcats would outhit the Lions 6 to 4 on Thursday, as Sam Johnson had 2 singles. Austin Courtney and Jaiden Brown both reached base safely twice, with a single and a walk. Isreal Juarez, and Jack Johnson each had singles. 

The pitching for the Bobcats went Drake Mathis to Israel Juarez to Trey Hoglund to Riley Bramlett, as they combined to allow just 4 hits. Juarez struck out 3 batters and Trey Hoglund had 1 strikeout. 

Hope is back in action on Friday as they travel to Prescott for a non-conference game against the Curley Wolves.
