Tyler Patterson tossed five touchdowns, including three to senior wideout Isaac Love. The other two touchdowns went to Jay Monk, as Monk has been impressive all year long.Â
The Panthers took control of the lead and the Bobcats couldn’t get enough stops on defense to give the offense a chance to take the lead late. Magnolia would win the game 45-34.Â
Tyler Patterson would finish the night with 286 yards passing, with five TDs and an INT. Isaac Love would have seven catches for 166 yards and three TDs. Jay Monk three catches, 72 yards and two TDs. Zyun Brown had 57 yards receiving and Tamorien Lindsey would have 40 yards rushing.Â
On the defensive side of the ball, KD Gulley and Juan Ortiz were very impressive as each of them recorded 15 tackles in their final games of their high school careers. Corey Armstrong had eight tackles, one tackle for loss, and hurried the quarterback all night. Jalen Staggers, Jacolby Scott, Jesse Barton, and Kamron Walton each had four tackles.Â
The O-line played great as they gave Patterson plenty of time all game. The Bobcats will finish their season with a 2-8 record and many bright spots this season.Â
