After the game, Elliott Vazquez and Jonathon Hernandez spoke on the win, "We feel good, happy to get my first for the season," Hernandez said after the win, with his goal being the game-winner. Vazquez added, "We played good we played with intensity at the end, we did sell a bit but at the end we came through."
Heading into the half down 1-0, the Bobcats knew they had to come out strong in the 2nd half, and they did just that. Elliott Vazquez got the scoring going for Hope early in the 2nd half with a nice goal on a great assist from Nathan Sanchez. Later on in the half, Brian Jimenez would find Alex Sanchez for the Bobcats second goal of the night. With just 3 minutes remaining, Elliott Vazquez would find Jonathon Hernandez for the game-winning goal to propel the Bobcats to a great 3-2 road win.
The defense late in the game was great, as they continue to work hard and figure out ways to win games.
Hope is back in action on Thursday as they head to Bauxite for another conference game, as they will look to improve in the standings.
