Lucas Sanchez got the Bobcats on the board early with a goal, on a nice pass from Gio Ruiz. Ruiz would send another great through ball to Bradley Brown, who found the back of the net to give Hope a 2-0 lead, and the goals started pouring in the rest of the first half for the Bobcats. Diego Martinez got in on the action on a great pass from Elliott Vazquez for the Bobcats third goal.
After that, Lalo stole the show, scoring 3 of the next four goals for Hope, one of which came on a nice pass from Kevin Lazano. Christopher Alvarado scored in the middle of all that, with the assist going to Jeffry Lagos.
The defense did not have a lot to do, but Jacob Pacheco and the defensive crew posted the Bobcats first clean sheet of the season, with more of those to come, as the Bobcats defensive unit takes a lot of pride on their side of the pitch. Both Erick Dominguez and Elias Martinez contributed on the clean sheet for the Bobcats.
Hope is back in action on Tuesday as they head to Robinson for a rematch of the state semis with the Senators.
