Hope- A 20-point first quarter got the Bobcats off and running early and they never let their foot off the gas as they pulled away early and extended the lead each quarter. Great defensive performance from Hope as they did a pretty good job of keeping the Leopards from making runs where they could get back in the game. Offensively, the Bobcats did a great job of distributing the basketball as Hope had five players in double-figures. Isaac Love led the way with 22 points, including going 5-5 from the free throw line. KD Gulley had a great night as he scored 14 points, grabbed 8 rebounds, and dished out 7 assists. Kyle Whiteman scored 13 points and had 6 assists. Whiteman also led the team in steals with 3. Corinthian Brown scored 13 points and Jay Monk was also in double-figures with 12 points. Sidney Ross would add 8 points and 4 rebounds, and Kamron Walton scored 3 points and had 2 steals. Hope improves to 3-0 in conference play and is tied with Magnolia at the top of the standings. The Bobcats welcome the Badgers to town on Friday night in a conference showdown.Â
